About the role
- Lead and manage the project team and project lifecycle ensuring all project deliverables are achieved on time and within cost
- Scope and create project plan with input from Designer and the appointed D&B Contractor
- Manage internal and external stakeholders and customers
- Assist in the preparation and submission of Business Cases
- Undertake the financial management of projects
- Resolve issues between Severn Trent Water and other utilities, statutory bodies, and undertakers
- Organise trials and ensure safe delivery of capital installs
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills
- Confidence to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to motivate both direct and third‑party teams
- Capability to identify and manage risks and opportunities across all projects
- Excellent understanding of health and safety‑related risk management
- Experience of working closely with the supply chain
