About the role

  • Lead and manage the project team and project lifecycle ensuring all project deliverables are achieved on time and within cost
  • Scope and create project plan with input from Designer and the appointed D&B Contractor
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders and customers
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of Business Cases
  • Undertake the financial management of projects
  • Resolve issues between Severn Trent Water and other utilities, statutory bodies, and undertakers
  • Organise trials and ensure safe delivery of capital installs

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Confidence to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Ability to motivate both direct and third‑party teams
  • Capability to identify and manage risks and opportunities across all projects
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety‑related risk management
  • Experience of working closely with the supply chain
