About the role

  • Perform technical analysis by reviewing user requirements and creating design documents
  • Perform coding adhering to client and industry standards, best practices, and customer requirements
  • Perform testing and verify they match the requirements
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation (design documents, process flows, object or data models, project plans, environment diagrams, test plans, etc.)
  • Collaborate with the project team for sprint/release work, providing estimates, discussing architecture/design, triaging and resolving defects across environments
  • Identify technical specifications and data integration requirements for ECIDS implementation and build the supporting data governance structure

Requirements

  • 15 years experience creating ETL processes and transporting, aggregating large data sets between systems
  • 15 years experience in SQL Server or Oracle stored procedures, PL/SQL, Dynamic SQL, and exception handling
  • 10 years experience in an object-oriented framework such as .NET Core or Java
  • 10 years experience with XML, JSON, API Testing, JavaScript and jQuery
  • 10 years experience with mid-large sized, complex enterprise-level SDLC
  • 2 years experience with Texas state agencies (required)
  • 2 years experience with Microsoft Power Platform such as PowerBI and PowerApps (preferred)
  • 2 years experience with project-specific tools such as Jira, Tempo, BitBucket, Confluence (preferred)
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies
