About the role
- Define and evolve the company’s technical vision in alignment with Series’ AI-first product strategy.
- Establish scalable architecture and engineering practices that support rapid experimentation and long-term growth.
- Act as a technical thought partner to the CEO and executive team.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a multidisciplinary engineering organization through strong technical leadership layers.
- Partner closely with Product, Design, and Operations leadership to align technical execution with product goals.
- Drive adoption of modern AI tools and workflows across engineering and adjacent disciplines.
- Improve engineering processes, planning, and delivery predictability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including senior leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams through growth and organizational scaling.
- Strong track record as a people manager and organizational builder, not solely a technical IC.
- Experience operating as a strategic technology leader within startup or high-growth environments.
- Clear point of view on how AI will transform software and content creation workflows.
- Experience introducing modern tooling, processes, or platform shifts that materially improved team effectiveness.
- Strong communication skills and ability to align technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving, startup-style environment with evolving priorities.
