Install, troubleshoot, and maintain products/equipment including alarms, naval munitions, giant voice, cameras, intrusion detection, emergency operation centers, regional dispatch centers, gates, wide area alert, indoor voice, dispatch activities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance services for Public Safety Systems (PSS) and Emergency Management (EM) systems
Troubleshoot PSS equipment and assets and repair product failures; order and replace parts as needed
Train employees and work directly with Navy customers to ensure systems are always operational
Determine and recommend products or services that best fit customers' needs; support design, procure, integrate, install and sustain systems/equipment
Support the Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Ashore Global Sustainment Contract (GSC) and measure performance by operational availability of systems
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience OR high school diploma/GED with 4 years' experience in the field
Ability to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance
Be able to travel locally and long distance as needed up to 10% of the time
Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
Experience with access gates and associated hardware, software, systems and manufacturers including, but not limited to: CCTV, Lenel, Card Readers, Access Control Logic, Bollards, Barriers, Hydraulics, Delta, Nasatka, Mass Notification Systems, Federal Signal
