About the role
- Managing content calendars and setting key performance indicators
- Creating, curating, scheduling, and publishing high-quality original content for various platforms
- Monitoring channels, responding to comments, messages, and mentions, and fostering a positive online community
- Planning and executing social media advertising campaigns and managing budgets
- Tracking metrics, analyzing campaign performance, and reporting on ROI
- Ensuring all content and interactions align with the organization’s brand voice, identity, and values
- Staying current with the social media algorithms, platform updates, and emerging trends
Requirements
- Relevant professional experience in social media marketing
- Nonprofit or mission-driven organization experience strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities remotely
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic remote environment
