About the role

  • Create a variety of communication and marketing materials directed toward independent insurance agents
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate the production and distribution of agent communications, including email campaigns, product notices, promotional materials, benefit guides and training materials
  • Write, design, create and deliver engaging marketing content that promotes our features and benefits to agents
  • Proofread, edit and provide constructive criticism on the work of clients and associates
  • Serve as a primary contact with both external and internal parties on programs such as new brand launch communications, marketing promotions and agency communication processes
  • Develop expertise in company products and services, as well as customer and agent personas to utilize in content creation, marketing and promotion
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, visuals, and overall brand presentation across all channels
  • Participate in the testing of new or revised procedures as it relates to the business systems
  • Provide procedural suggestions and ideas for implementation
  • Explore new delivery methods and communication forums for independent insurance agents

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with an emphasis in Graphic Arts, Design, Marketing, Communications or related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage complex projects
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with Internet technologies and resources
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
