  • Contribute: As an IT Product Analyst, you will leverage your business and technical expertise to support feature implementation that aligns with our IT product strategy.
  • In addition, you will:
  • Leverage your knowledge of data system development and gain experience working with customers and data engineers to help ensure our systems are highly functional, intuitive, and meet or exceed expectations.
  • Direct the effort to gather and document comprehensive business requirements and feature acceptance criteria, particularly for features involving external dependencies to your team.
  • Lead discussions with customers to propose and implement features that are in line with the overarching product strategy, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
  • Observe how they use data to do their job, and brainstorm ways to help them be more efficient and effective while ensuring their requirements are met.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills through clear and concise written communication and engaging presentations, facilitating effective dissemination of information across stakeholders.
  • Identify and proactively addresses change management requirements in collaboration with business partners, ensuring smooth transitions during project implementation.
  • Uphold quality standards by adhering to established testing best practices and expectations while identifying gaps and implementing modifications that drive continuous quality improvement.
  • Assemble an understanding of the technologies and processes used to develop our data systems and provide ideas and perspective on how we could do it better.
  • Be able to explain the technical building blocks and flow of information within our systems.
  • Develop technical skills such as writing SQL queries and data consumption prototyping to enhance feature development while minimizing reliance on data engineers.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Degree in Information Systems, Business Analysis or related discipline preferred
  • Bachelor Degree preferred
  • 2 years of related work experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage product requirements throughout the development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated understanding of business process, insurance products, and customer needs preferred
  • Proven ability to cultivate respectful relationships with business partners and team members
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to identify process improvement opportunities
