About the role
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities in the flavors segment through independent initiative of prospective and existing customers in the Jalisco, Guadalajara area. Pipeline generation with direct customers and via a local distributor.
- Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with customers' R&D and purchasing departments, serving as a key technical contact for long-term projects.
- Develop and present customer-specific proposals that highlight the value and quality of products, aiming to persuade and convert prospects into clients.
- Direct the entire sales process from initial opportunity identification through to securing purchase orders and ensuring successful delivery.
- Conduct ongoing analysis of industry trends and competitor product lines to recommend strategic initiatives that enhance company brand equity and market position.
- As part of a dynamic team, you will collaborate with internal teams across different departments that will support and ensure your success.
Requirements
- A strategic approach to developing business and winning new accounts with highly technical, value-added solutions
- Your background in food science, chemistry, biochemistry, or related discipline, or your strong technical sales experience will be critical to engage in technical conversations both internally and with customers.
- No sales experience required, as long as you enjoy working with clients and got the drive to win, a curious mind.
- Process oriented, project management and ability to manage significant business opportunities. Strong communication and motivational ability.
- Teamwork sense.
- Ability to travel to visit clients
