About the role
- Drives the development of actionable product roadmaps by integrating inputs from cross-functional stakeholders in our business objectives & product strategy.
- Manage product positioning in the marketplace, including rationalizing pricing strategy based on market conditions.
- Develop product strategy and optimize product portfolio, providing planning and project prioritization.
- Contributes to the pricing strategy through the product life cycle.
- Drives the development and execution of the product roadmap to improvement.
- Provide support for operational issues associated with quality, delivery and production.
- Anticipating and communicating issues, recommending corrective action, and taking independent remedial actions and reporting outcomes.
Requirements
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.
- Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers.
- Understanding the automotive/ heavy vehicle OE and/or Aftermarket is a must.
- Prior experience or working knowledge of electronic vehicle controls, which may include sensors or cameras, is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% per year as required.
