About the role

  • Develop and maintain customer accounts
  • Manage the total sales process toward building and supporting strong customer relationships
  • Frequent customer contact, leading cost changes, managing customer bids, and driving the sell-in of new items
  • Preparing sales reports, managing customer bookings, building an accurate annual budget, developing promotions when needed, addressing short payments, and coordinating internally

Requirements

  • Must be available & willing to travel to customer locations
  • Day-to-day management of all assigned customer accounts
  • Strong sales, presentation, organization and communication skills
  • Accurately forecast & track sales
  • Must be able to determine customer requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in sales & marketing preferred or 5 years of industry experience
  • Sales skills are critical toward the relational foundations required
  • History or ability to develop and execute overall account management, ensuring strategic plans are met
  • History or ability to understand and effectively work with different departments within the company
