About the role
- Develop and maintain customer accounts
- Manage the total sales process toward building and supporting strong customer relationships
- Frequent customer contact, leading cost changes, managing customer bids, and driving the sell-in of new items
- Preparing sales reports, managing customer bookings, building an accurate annual budget, developing promotions when needed, addressing short payments, and coordinating internally
Requirements
- Must be available & willing to travel to customer locations
- Day-to-day management of all assigned customer accounts
- Strong sales, presentation, organization and communication skills
- Accurately forecast & track sales
- Must be able to determine customer requirements
- Bachelor's degree in sales & marketing preferred or 5 years of industry experience
- Sales skills are critical toward the relational foundations required
- History or ability to develop and execute overall account management, ensuring strategic plans are met
- History or ability to understand and effectively work with different departments within the company
