About the role
- Responsible for the development and implementation of the staffing and hiring process.
- Direct responsibility for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the companies and the locations human resource programs.
- General Management and administration of HR duties.
- Issue written and oral instructions/procedures to improve efficiency.
- Responsible for EEO logs, applications, new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations.
- Ensure employees understand company benefits and policies.
- Provide leadership in administering Safety and Worker's Compensation program.
- Provide and execute required training for all employees.
- Recruits, interviews, and selects applicants to fill vacant positions.
- Develops and conducts new employee orientations.
- Conducts exit interviews and prepares separation documents.
Requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally.
- Willingess and ability to work and function in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and strong time-management skills
- Confidentiality and good judgement.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to relate to all types of people.
- College degree and or 2 to 5 years related experience and /or training in human resource functions.
