About the role
- Guide a proficient team in building and scaling foundational platforms.
- Collaborate with product teams, infrastructure architects, and engineering leaders to define and implement the platform strategy.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for platform architecture, design patterns, and code reviews.
- Track team development process and ensure accountability for platform service delivery, reliability, quality, and timelines.
- Set high-quality standards for platform services, seeking and choosing technical solutions to meet current and future needs.
- Take a leading role in design and implementation of shared platform components, APIs, and infrastructure services.
- Drive platform adoption across engineering teams and establish best practices for platform consumption.
- Be responsible for the growth and evolution of team members, providing career development and mentorship.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in leading engineering teams, preferably in platform or infrastructure domains.
- 5+ years of experience as a backend developer.
- Deep knowledge of at least one of C#, .Net, .Net Core
- Strong experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and API design patterns.
- Proficient in multithreading, Object-Oriented programming, and asynchronous patterns.
- Broad experience in designing, executing, and delivering platform services and shared infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of observability, monitoring, and operational best practices.
- Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
- Degree in computer science or equivalent.
