About the role
- Act as a strategic and operational sparring partner for executive management, the finance department and project managers, with a focus on financial steering and cost optimization
- Lead a well-established two-person controlling team with distinct areas of responsibility
- Continuously analyze and evaluate project and process costs and develop corresponding recommendations for action
- Review the economic viability of contract awards, contractual agreements and invoicing documentation from our service providers
- Independently collect, prepare and analyze data to support strategic decision-making
- Report to the publicly listed holding company CTS Eventim
Requirements
- University degree in business administration, economics, finance or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Several years of experience in finance, controlling, project & cost controlling or comparable roles; ideally in a medium-sized company with project-based business or services
- Strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset when questioning and optimizing cost structures
- Interest in the events industry
- Excellent Excel skills; experience with advanced tools such as Power BI is desirable
