About the role
- Identification and outreach to potential new customers in the safety glass segment
- Building, maintaining and expanding long-term customer relationships
- Preparation of quotes, cost calculations and conducting contract negotiations
- Technical consultation on the properties and benefits of safety glass products
- Development and implementation of sales strategies to open up new market segments
- Support and advising of existing customers to realize cross-selling potential
- Continuous analysis of market and competitive developments
- Conducting expert product presentations and trainings
- Coordination of customer projects
- Representing the company at trade fairs, specialist events and industry conferences
- Maintaining and expanding the professional network within the safety glass industry
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in a commercial, technical or skilled trades field
- Several years of experience in sales, ideally in the technical or industrial sector
- Experience in managing major accounts and acquiring new customers
- Knowledge of project management
- Solid knowledge in the area of safety glass or a related product field desirable
- Technical understanding
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Independent, structured and goal-oriented working style
- Team player with high social competence
- Customer-focused mindset and approach
