Data Analyst

• Support the design and monitoring of Card underwriting strategies, credit line increase programs, and portfolio performance metrics.
• Analyze performance of underwriting strategies and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and reduce losses.
• Execute and monitor recurring credit strategy programs such as credit line increases, acquisition campaigns, and prescreen processing.
• Support champion/challenger tests and experiment design for various lifecycle credit strategies.
• Assist in designing exposure limits, eligibility rules, and acquisition criteria.
• Query, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python.

Backend Engineer

• Develop capabilities that support our credit building products and banking core systems
• Develop services and infrastructure that provide essential functions at a massive scale
• Work closely with Product Managers to build tools and systems required for us to service our financial products to our large customer base
• Report to an Engineering Manager and work with our amazing team of Professional Engineers

Staff Software Engineer – Backend

• Support and maintain the PayPort payment platform and related services
• Ensure system uptime, reliability, and performance of critical payment workflows
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues impacting payment systems
• Design, develop, and enhance payment processing capabilities and integrations
• Build and support bank and bureau reporting functionality
• Contribute to scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Support day-to-day "run the business" operations for payment systems

• Own the full lifecycle of enterprise partnerships, from sourcing through negotiation, close, implementation, and long-term revenue expansion

• Own end-to-end application security for all Self products
• Conduct and manage vulnerability scanning, triage, and remediation tracking using security tools (e.g., SAST)
• Partner closely with engineering and product teams to remediate critical security findings
• Lead and perform third-party vendor security reviews and risk assessments
• Support SOC 2 and PCI compliance efforts, including audit preparation and evidence collection
