About the role
- Responsible for the efficient and quality-focused operation of the pharmacy department
- Direct, coordinate, and supervise all delegated pharmacy activities within the department or division
- Supervise and manage departmental personnel, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and corrective actions
- Mentor pharmacists and pharmacy management teams to increase their efficiency
- Maintain outstanding working relationships with pharmacy associates and the medical community
- Implement Quality Improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations
- Review and prepare pharmacy audit reports and implement cost-saving initiatives
Requirements
- B.S. Pharmacy degree or Pharm. D. degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Must hold a valid RPH license
- 5+ years of relevant pharmacy work experience
- 2+ years of demonstrable experience in a managerial capacity at a pharmacy
