About the role
- Take test scripts authored by Sales, Finance, Customer Success, and Support and execute them as those stakeholders to validate releases.
- Build and maintain a unified QA strategy that covers applications, integrations, and data pipelines.
- Review stakeholder-authored scripts, enhance them, and convert them into manual and automated test suites.
- Run functional, regression, integration, performance, security, and data-quality tests in sandbox and production-like environments.
- Embed smoke and regression checks into Copado to ensure only validated code moves forward.
- Manage realistic test data in Salesforce sandboxes and Snowflake dev environments.
- Log defects in Jira, drive root-cause analysis with developers, retest fixes, and issue clear go/no-go calls.
- Publish QA metrics showing coverage, defect trends, and release readiness.
- Coach admins, developers, and analysts to improve scripts and embrace a quality-first mindset.
Requirements
- 8 years of professional QA experience, including 2 years leading or owning QA for enterprise business systems.
- Proven testing expertise in Salesforce plus at least one finance platform such as NetSuite or Certinia.
- Practical automation experience with tools that integrate into Copado CI/CD.
- Comfortable working in Jira and Confluence and collaborating directly with non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Nice to have: Experience with Gainsight, ServiceNow, or CPQ testing.
