About the role

  • Create beautiful and intuitive software experiences using Node.js, JavaScript, and modern engineering practices
  • Build backend services and APIs using Node.js, designing for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Contribute across the full development lifecycle using Lean, Agile, and design-thinking practices
  • Work on greenfield products built from scratch using modern tools, frameworks, and cloud technologies
  • Collaborate in an open, non-hierarchical environment with designers, engineers, and product teams
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements
  • Help mentor and grow the next generation of developers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • Strong experience in Node.js and JavaScript with deep understanding of backend development
  • Proven experience building server-side components, APIs, and service-oriented architectures
  • Good understanding of UI frameworks such as ReactJS or AngularJS (good to have)
  • Familiarity with front-end tools like React, Ember, Polymer, or jQuery is a plus
  • Passion for software craftsmanship, clean coding principles, and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
