About the role
- Lead Mobile Innovation – Architect, build, and maintain native iOS applications that are mission-critical to our products.
- Own the Experience – Ensure seamless user experiences across iOS devices, from sleek UI to resilient backend integration.
- Collaborate Across Teams – Partner with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Raise the Bar – Perform code reviews, mentor others, and champion mobile best practices.
- Push the Boundaries – Leverage modern iOS frameworks, cloud services, and edge capabilities to create new possibilities in insurtech.
Requirements
- iOS Expertise – Proficiency in Swift (and Objective-C as needed) with deep knowledge of Apple’s frameworks (UIKit, SwiftUI).
- Architecture Skills – Experience designing scalable, maintainable mobile applications
- API Integration – Strong background integrating RESTful APIs and working with backend teams to optimize data flows.
- App Store Experience – Track record of shipping and maintaining production apps.
- Problem-Solver – Ability to tackle complex challenges with a balance of speed and precision.
- Bonus Points For
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Android for cross-platform collaboration
- Prior experience in insurtech or field services
