About the role
- Architect, build, and maintain native Android applications that are central to our product suite.
- Deliver smooth, responsive, and resilient user experiences across a wide range of Android devices.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver complete solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor others, and drive adoption of best practices in Android development.
- Harness modern Android frameworks, cloud integration, and edge capabilities to enhance product offerings.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Kotlin (and Java as needed) with deep knowledge of Android SDK and modern app architecture.
- Experience building scalable, maintainable mobile applications.
- Strong experience consuming RESTful APIs and collaborating with backend engineers on data flows.
- Proven track record of building, releasing, and maintaining production apps (Play Store experience).
- Strong analytical and creative thinking to tackle complex challenges.
- Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines (bonus).
- Familiarity with iOS for cross-platform collaboration (bonus).
- Prior experience in insurtech or field services (bonus).
