Accountant

• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with attention to detail and complex accounting system structures
• Assist in workpaper preparation for annual audit; prepare worksheets and provide information for internal and external audits
• Process invoices and reimbursement requests ensuring receipts, authorizations, and policy compliance
• Ensure donations are processed in keeping with established procedures and audit requirements
• Provide initial review and approval of field-engaged journals; perform monthly and annual entries, adjustments, and reconciliations
• Attend and participate in meetings and task forces; lead or participate in organization-wide projects
• Ideally three days weekly in the Arlington office; remote work possible for highly qualified applicants
