About the role

  • Take full ownership of the global month-end close, consolidated financial statements, internal controls, compliance, and financial governance across our four international entities.
  • Drive the transformation of our accounting function into a robust, scalable, best-practice operation.
  • Shape the finance operating model and lead the optimisation of our newly implemented Business Central ERP.
  • Ensure that financial data, reporting, and controls are accurate, timely, and decision-ready.
  • Oversee relationships with third-party providers for coordinated financial operations.
  • Design and embed SOPs, accounting policies, internal controls frameworks, and governance structures.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvements that prepare the business for future scale.
  • Oversee critical project work including system upgrades, entity integration, audit preparation, and expansion-related accounting requirements.
  • May involve occasional international travel.

Requirements

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting or consolidation roles.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and consolidation processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Microsoft suite and ERP systems (e.g., Business Central).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
