About the role
- To represent client employers at hearings before the Industrial Commission and the Department of Job and Family Services.
- Attends all levels of hearings before the Industrial Commission on behalf of clients with the exception of legal issues.
- Creates follow-up hearing letters; enters hearing results in the TEAM system.
- Reviews files online or via CD for upcoming hearings; prepares necessary documentation to represent employer's interests.
- Reviews state files.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Supports the organization's quality program(s).
- Travels as required.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
- Current driver's license required.
- Five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required including two (2) years experience in workers' compensation field in a high client-contact position.
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
- Flexibility.
- Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities.
- Self-motivated and able to follow through on assignments.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
