💰 $70,000 - $82,000 per year

About the role

  • To represent client employers at hearings before the Industrial Commission and the Department of Job and Family Services.
  • Attends all levels of hearings before the Industrial Commission on behalf of clients with the exception of legal issues.
  • Creates follow-up hearing letters; enters hearing results in the TEAM system.
  • Reviews files online or via CD for upcoming hearings; prepares necessary documentation to represent employer's interests.
  • Reviews state files.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Supports the organization's quality program(s).
  • Travels as required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
  • Current driver's license required.
  • Five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required including two (2) years experience in workers' compensation field in a high client-contact position.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Flexibility.
  • Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities.
  • Self-motivated and able to follow through on assignments.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
