About the role
- Conduct all-source intelligence collection and research, analysing and integrating information from multiple sources to identify risks, trends, and intelligence gaps.
- Use strong analytical and inductive reasoning skills to anticipate and assess potential threats.
- Produce high-quality intelligence assessments and recommendations, applying professional judgement and experience.
- Analyse intelligence related to geopolitical issues, terrorism, organised crime, and other security-relevant threats.
- Translate complex intelligence and investigation outputs into clear, actionable reports for diverse audiences.
- Identify patterns of complex behaviour and provide insights into current and emerging risks.
- Prepare threat assessments for major events or emerging situations.
- Deliver briefings and presentations in a clear, inclusive, and engaging way.
Requirements
- The right to work in the UK
- A minimum five-year checkable employment history, or the ability to provide documentary evidence covering any periods of unemployment, self-employment, or full- or part-time education.
- The ability to demonstrate and uphold Securitas’ core values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness in everything you do.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Additional regional language skills are welcomed but not essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex findings and insights to a wide range of audiences, including senior and executive-level stakeholders.
- Proven ability to synthesise complex information, focusing on key risks, priorities, and actionable outcomes.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (up to approximately 30% of the time).
- Well-developed interpersonal, presentation, and collaboration skills, enabling effective engagement across diverse teams and cultures.
- Some experience in crisis management related to physical security and intelligence analysis at the corporate level is preferred.
- Builds and maintains professional relationships with external government, law enforcement, academic, and private sector partners supporting the OCI physical security mission.
