About the role

  • Regional sales and account management
  • Manage, advise and grow a defined customer portfolio in your territory
  • Active new customer acquisition and market development
  • Conduct product presentations, annual reviews and negotiations
  • Identify and exploit regional revenue opportunities (upselling/cross-selling)
  • Strategic key account management
  • Responsibility for selected strategically important customers in the region
  • Develop customer-specific account strategies and action plans
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships at decision-maker level
  • Analyze customer needs, market trends and competitor activities
  • Close coordination with marketing, product management, customer service and management
  • Manage regional projects and ensure smooth customer onboarding
  • Use CRM systems for pipeline management, analysis and reporting
  • Accountable for meeting targets (revenue, growth, customer satisfaction)

Requirements

  • Completed commercial training or a degree in business, sales or a related field
  • Experience in account management or field sales, ideally with initial exposure to key account management
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Sales-driven, solution-oriented personality with strategic understanding
  • Independent and structured working style and high willingness to travel within the region
  • High level of initiative, discipline and assertiveness
  • Confident user of CRM systems and MS Office
  • Residence in or near North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW)
  • Solid understanding of key customers' needs and the ability to develop tailored solutions
  • Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
