About the role

  • Research and identify potential customers using tools like LinkedIn, CRM systems, and sales databases
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social outreach to engage prospects
  • Qualify leads based on defined criteria before passing them to the BDM team
  • Set up introductory / discovery meetings with new prospects for AM’s
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM
  • Review Frameworks for suitable tenders to review and bid for
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to optimise outreach campaigns and messaging
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitors

Requirements

  • 12 months experience in a SDR customer-facing role (cyber services industry preferred)
  • An understanding of B2B sales
  • Passion for sales and interest in building a career in business development
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with a proactive mindset
  • Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently
  • Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections
  • Experience using CRM and sales analytics platforms
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
  • Desirable An understanding of B2B cyber security sales
  • An understanding of the cyber threat landscape
  • An understanding of cyber services markets e.g. Penetration Testing, Red Team/Purple Team, Adversary Simulation)
