Responsible for the safety of patients prior to and during transport to medical care facilities.
Provide basic patient care as well as advanced life support measures required to stabilize the critically ill or injured patient.
Demonstrate proficiency in neonatal and pediatric critical care respiratory practices.
Familiar with ambulance and aircraft operating procedures and safety practices.
Must be available for on-call and as scheduled.
Requirements
Graduate of accredited school of Respiratory Therapy.
Minimum of two (2) years current pediatric intensive care (PICU), cardiac intensive care (CICU), or neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) experience.
Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Current Washington State RCP License.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required to be obtained within three (3) months of start date.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP).
A current passport or WA Enhanced ID is a prerequisite to hiring.
