About the role
- Lead Technical Onboarding: guide clients through technical onboarding of SearchStax Search product to ensure smooth implementations.
- Create Custom Code: write and maintain custom code to integrate SearchStax solutions with client systems.
- Leverage UI Expertise: design and implement reliable front-end solutions and lead UI development for Solutions Engineering.
- Research Solutions: quickly research and develop innovative solutions to address client challenges.
- Support Clients: provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after onboarding.
- Continually Learn: stay up-to-date with technologies and industry trends to enhance skills.
- Collaborate: work closely with product, engineering, sales, and implementation teams; help build and mature Solutions Engineering practices; document technical solutions and refine implementation processes.
Requirements
- About 3+ years of engineering experience, ideally in a customer facing role.
- Familiarity with modern UI technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Experience in a client-facing role with a strong customer service orientation.
- Experience developing in CMS technologies, preferably Drupal a plus.
- Excellent programming skills, with experience in languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and independently.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with cloud platforms AWS, Azure, and GCP is ideal.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Ideally, experience with search technologies (Solr, Elasticsearch, etc.) and/or familiarity with Web crawling and data extraction.
