About the role
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with a broad spectrum of cardiovascular diseases.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and ECGs.
- Conduct interventional cardiology procedures as required.
- Develop individualized management plans, including medical treatment and preventive strategies.
- Offer expert consultation to other clinicians and coordinate multidisciplinary care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
- Engage in continuous professional development and keep current with advances in cardiology.
- Provide patient education focused on cardiovascular health and disease prevention.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialist qualification in Cardiology.
- Extensive experience working as a Consultant Cardiologist, preferably within the private healthcare sector.
- Proven skills in clinical cardiology and interventional procedures.
- Strong ability to interpret cardiovascular diagnostic tests accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interaction.
- High level of professionalism and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to staying updated with cardiology advancements.
- Familiarity with private sector healthcare practices and patient management.
