Sales Engineer

• Provide customers and partner representatives with in-depth technical product and related solution assistance during pre-sales discussions.
• Support sales productivity by securing the “technical close” in complex solutions and partner with clients and internal customers as the main pre-sales technical interface.
• Work closely with assigned sales reps and territories while they develop leads into actionable sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with assigned salespeople, Professional Services, and Marketing to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer requirements.
• Participate in web and in-person meetings with partners and end users to provide product demonstrations, discuss technical concepts and product features, and benefits.
• Partner with channel partners and the Sales department and assist in understanding the customer’s business problem and pain point(s), propose the right solution and develop project strategies to ensure a successful solution implementation.
• Evangelize BarTender products and vision (50% BarTender Labeling Solutions/50% BarTender Track & Trace/Retail solutions).
• Gather the information and details about prospective customer business and technical pain, allowing the professional service team to build statements of work.
• Input and update records accurately and manage data in our CRM database on all client interactions, to include technical notes and information to assist the sales process.
• Work in the regional/corporate office during events or other activities as needed.
• Up to 70% travel within the LATAM region/territory including Central and South America, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
