About the role

  • Solve challenging multidisciplinary technical problems and lead extendibility initiatives in Embedded System design to ensure a sustainable roadmap for HDD Areal Density & Performance growth
  • Focus on enabling the servo code and electronics architecture to enable next generation features
  • Identify code and hardware setting that pose technical problems and engineering bottlenecks in product development
  • Develop and Implement in HDD solutions addressing the design problems
  • Perform design validation and verification
  • Participate in cutting edge technology development in HDD Multi-actuator/Parallelism initiatives
  • Work in an open-minded environment which: supports and fosters Innovation
  • supports solutions deployment in Factory for successful product development on a high volume manufacturing scale

Requirements

  • Master’s in Electrical , ECE, or Computer Engineering
  • Master’s degree in the same areas with 1+ years of experience including in a University setting
  • Knowledge and skills on RISC-V, Embedded Systems is a requirement
  • High level of comfort with Matlab and Embedded software development
