About the role

  • Contribute to architecture and development discussions, offering fresh perspectives on modern technologies
  • Build and extend Seagate’s MES services and APIs
  • Working with Kafka messaging platform to create application producer/consumer solutions
  • Developing Java-based services and applications, handling migrations, and adding JMX (Java Management Extension) to existing applications
  • Assisting with projects that convert JSON to proprietary interfaces
  • Supporting application migration to AWS
  • Building and managing regression environments and testing
  • Manage assigned tasks and projects
  • Participate in QA activities and documentation
  • Collaborate with senior developers on project tasks
  • Present progress updates during periodic meetings

Requirements

  • Currently Pursuing Bachelor in Computer Science, System Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Intermediate knowledge of development environments: VS Code, IntelliJ, NetBeans
  • Intermediate knowledge of programming languages: Java, JavaScript, Python
  • Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
