Solutions Engineer

• Lead complex consulting engagements involving in-depth data analysis and material handling solutions
• Work directly with customers, sales, and engineering teams to identify requirements and develop cost-effective designs
• Travel to customer sites to review and document existing logistics operations
• Develop strong customer relationships through superior problem solving
• Manage Data Analysts to identify key data points required to design and justify concepts
• Oversee Design Engineers to develop detailed material handling system designs
• Manage computer simulation modeling of proposed systems
• Perform labor analysis and Return on Investment calculations to justify proposed designs
• Build client confidence through clear and effective presentations
• Support sales presentations, proposal development and pre-sales activities (trade shows, etc.)
• Guide and train Consulting and Engineering team members on shared projects
• Research and educate organization on latest material handling technologies and industry trends
• Assist in identifying process improvements and best practices for Consulting Department
• Develop tools required to effectively perform job functions
