Orchestrate payroll service delivery for customers within the team and ensure seamless execution of tasks of the payroll workbook
Provide payroll delivery assurance with high quality operational support across continuous payroll, garnishments, payroll policies and controls, compliance controls, payment releases and reporting to local authorities
Drive continuous process improvement and identify optimization opportunities in country-specific processes
Handle process deviations, assess impact, and recommend solutions to local and global design authorities
Own the change order process liaising with external stakeholders, gathering requirements, pricing, implementation, documentation and training
Maintain SOPs, DWIs, guidelines, and process documentation ensuring consistency across regions
Develop training materials and provide training to junior and medior team members
Maintain close communication with key stakeholders including country teams and clients
Process complex payroll cases and act as first escalation point for operating teams
Produce timely and accurate payroll in accordance with SD Worx processes, standards and contractual SLAs
Participate in testing and validation for system updates and configuration changes; assist with system implementations
Communicate daily with client-designated contacts and external parties when necessary
Process Year End activities and generate year end statutory reports
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in Payroll outsourcing within an enterprise business outsourcing environment
Knowledge of payroll processes such as continuous payroll through payroll control centre, garnishments, payroll policies and payroll controls, compliance controls payment releases and reporting to the local authorities
Practical experience with Employee Central Payroll and payroll control centre
Experience in managing client relationships and delivering payroll services to multinational clients
Knowledge with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPI measurement and reporting
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Good communication skills (both verbal and written), fluent in English and Finnish
Preferred: Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Payroll, Concur, Workforce Management and integration tooling; experience with inbound and outbound payroll interfaces; certifications such as CPP, CPS or CPM
