About the role
- Lead operational audit missions in financial-related areas, owning scoping, budgeting and planning of missions
- Steer and coach team members on audit missions and within the team
- Develop pragmatic recommendations and debrief audit results to management
- Facilitate definition and follow-up of appropriate action plans
- Contribute to the setup of the Internal Audit plan
- Bring and implement innovative ideas to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the team
- Provide assurance and advice to SD Worx and Worxinvest Boards of Directors and Executive Committees on risk management and internal controls
- Report to the Chief Audit Executive; based in Antwerp, Belgium
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience within an audit function (Big4 or internal audit)
- Master’s degree in business administration, (commercial) engineering, finance or equivalent
- Experience working in an international environment
- Have or willing to obtain professional certifications such as CIA or others
- Familiar with key standards, frameworks, regulation and concepts in financial or investment related areas or experience auditing in a regulated environment
- Team player motivated to take a leading role in improving team efficiency and effectiveness
- Analytical mindset with an eye for identifying risks and related controls
- Strong communication skills, both in writing and presenting
- Proficient in English (knowledge of Dutch is an add-on)
- Open to limited travel (mainly within Europe)
