About the role
- Lead operational audit missions in financial related areas, taking full ownership of scoping, budgeting and planning of missions
- Steer and coach team members on audit missions and within the team
- Develop pragmatic recommendations and debrief results to management
- Facilitate definition and follow-up of action plans
- Contribute to the setup of the Internal Audit plan
- Bring and implement innovative ideas to increase effectiveness and efficiency of the team
- Report to the Chief Audit Executive
Requirements
- at least 4 years of experience within an audit function (either in a Big4 environment or in an internal audit position)
- Master’s degree in business administration, (commercial) engineering, finance or equivalent
- experience with working in an international environment
- willing to obtain professional certifications such as CIA or others
- familiar with key standards, frameworks, regulation and concepts in financial or investment related areas or experience auditing in a regulated environment
- team player motivated to take a leading role
- analytical mindset with eye for identifying risks and related controls
- strong communication skills in writing and presenting
- proficient in English (Knowledge of Dutch is an add-on)
- open to limited travel (mainly within Europe)
