About the role

  • Expand our mid-market AE team from 4 to 8 reps immediately, with the systems and structure to grow to 16–20 reps
  • Hire, ramp, coach, and retain high-output reps who can close 10+ deals/month
  • Run weekly pipeline reviews, call coaching sessions, and strategy sprints
  • Stay hands-on—join customer calls, close deals, and lead from the front
  • Drive team performance against aggressive revenue targets and hiring plans
  • Build the foundational processes for recruiting, onboarding, forecasting, and reporting
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Marketing to influence roadmap and positioning
  • Be a domain expert on AI-first brand visibility, search behavior, and marketing trends
  • Establish executive-level trust with CMOs and senior marketing leaders

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of SaaS sales experience, with 2–4 years managing mid-market teams
  • Proven ability to scale headcount and revenue simultaneously
  • Obsessed with coaching, rep performance, and process—but not afraid to get your hands dirty
  • Experience operating in high-velocity, competitive environments
  • Comfortable selling into VP and C-level buyers, especially in marketing or brand functions
  • Builder’s mindset: scrappy, resourceful, and systems-oriented
  • Deep understanding of AI, marketing tech, SEO, or digital strategy is a plus
