About the role
- Expand our mid-market AE team from 4 to 8 reps immediately, with the systems and structure to grow to 16–20 reps
- Hire, ramp, coach, and retain high-output reps who can close 10+ deals/month
- Run weekly pipeline reviews, call coaching sessions, and strategy sprints
- Stay hands-on—join customer calls, close deals, and lead from the front
- Drive team performance against aggressive revenue targets and hiring plans
- Build the foundational processes for recruiting, onboarding, forecasting, and reporting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Marketing to influence roadmap and positioning
- Be a domain expert on AI-first brand visibility, search behavior, and marketing trends
- Establish executive-level trust with CMOs and senior marketing leaders
Requirements
- 5–8 years of SaaS sales experience, with 2–4 years managing mid-market teams
- Proven ability to scale headcount and revenue simultaneously
- Obsessed with coaching, rep performance, and process—but not afraid to get your hands dirty
- Experience operating in high-velocity, competitive environments
- Comfortable selling into VP and C-level buyers, especially in marketing or brand functions
- Builder’s mindset: scrappy, resourceful, and systems-oriented
- Deep understanding of AI, marketing tech, SEO, or digital strategy is a plus
