About the role
- TL;DR – Why This Role Matters: We’re scaling our BDR program and need a leader to hire, coach, and inspire early-career sellers while building the operating system for Scribe’s next growth.
- You’ll guide the team as we evolve from inbound motions to a true sales-assisted and outbound engine; partner with Sales, RevOps, and Marketing to tighten handoffs and drive pipeline.
- It’s a hands-on, scrappy role focused on building a strong performance culture and developing talent into future AEs and GTM leaders.
- As a BDR Manager at Scribe, you will hire, onboard, and grow a team; coach in the trenches; build operating rhythm; partner across teams; develop and refine the playbook; model customer excellence; scale with speed.
- Location: HQ in San Francisco; we hire from almost anywhere, but you should live in or near SF and work from the office 3 days per week.

Requirements
- 1–2+ years leading a BDR/SDR team in SaaS; prior quota-carrying experience is a plus.
- A talent builder who hires well, turns around underperformers, and drives promotions.
- Hands-on operator who inspects what they expect and manages by the numbers.
- Strong communicator and coach who inspires early-career sellers and gives direct, actionable feedback.
- Comfortable selling and coaching across multiple use cases and buyer personas.
- Thrives in fast-moving, changing environments, tests, adapts, and improves quickly.
- Collaborative partner who works seamlessly with Sales, Marketing, and RevOps.
