About the role
- Continuously monitor and interpret evolving privacy regulations in the EU and US, creating strategic plans for compliance and practical improvements to safeguard personal data.
- Maintain and update the Record of Processing Activities (ROPA), privacy policies, and procedures aligned with the QMS.
- Review, draft, and negotiate key contracts including distribution agreements, End User License Agreements (EULAs), Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), and other contracts.
- Lead Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), coordinate breach and incident response activities with the Security team, and advise on privacy and legal risks.
- Manage vendor contracts and data transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
- Provide practical privacy and legal advice to internal stakeholders, deliver training to foster awareness.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of working experience in privacy, data protection, and legal contract review
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field; Master’s degree (LLM) is a plus
- Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), or equivalent privacy certification
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills in English.
