About the role

  • Contribute to analytical work in specific areas.
  • Develop and maintain the SFC’s analytical models.
  • Produce forecasts and other analysis for fiscal events.
  • Contribute to SFC’s reports with writing, tables and data visualization.
  • Assist in quality assuring formal publications.
  • Engage with policy officials and specialists to ensure analyses reflect government policy.
  • Monitor key data releases and external comments in relevant areas.

Requirements

  • You should have a first or upper second class degree or postgraduate qualification in a numerate subject (e.g statistics, economics, actuarial science).
  • Experience using data analysis to solve problems, including applying statistical or analytical models to draw conclusions.
