About the role
- Oversee and lead all accounting operations activities
- Help to build and scale accounting operations team
- Ensure strong internal control environment is maintained
- Assist in setting up policies related to travel and transparency reporting
- Position will also require partnership with various members of cross functional teams
- Assist in ad-hoc projects as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, or Finance
- CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Hands-on knowledge of accounting operations and processes
- Prior management of an accounting team
- Familiarity with internal controls requirements in a public company
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- At least 10 years of applicable experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment
- Experience with Netsuite and/or SAP a plus
