About the role
- Support Manager and carry out cross-functional activities for more than one functional area of supply chain management.
- Ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement within the supply chain.
- Provide inputs for formulation of the functional strategies and ensure their implementation across different regions and divisions.
- Conduct SCM related research and analyses, support development of relevant (global) policies and budget planning.
- Identify optimization areas for processes and systems at global and/or regional level, suggest improvement to better meet business requirements.
- Carry out accountabilities assigned to meet targets related to cost, productivity, accuracy and timeline.
- Evaluate supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, Business, or similar
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, or a related role, within a manufacturing environment
- Basic understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with suppliers, team members, and other stakeholders
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various departments
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools - SAP (PP & MM)
- Availability for overnight travel > 25% of the time
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employment visa or other sponsorship
- Preferred: Certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), or Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
- Strong Microsoft skills
