About the role
- Onboarding in Advanced Production Technology
- Contributing to challenging projects with interdisciplinary tasks
- Getting to know the Schaeffler environment while intensively building a global network across production, purchasing and supply chain management
- Applying and further developing digital engineering approaches across the entire production lifecycle
- Performing data-driven analyses and evaluations to identify optimization potential in the production design process
- Developing and integrating digital tools and continuously monitoring technology and market trends
- Collaborating and networking with relevant internal and external technology partners, startups and research institutions
Requirements
- University degree with above-average results in engineering, industrial engineering, computer science or a comparable field
- Initial experience in a production environment and in digitalization
- Basic knowledge of animation and visualization is an advantage
- Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing technologies is desirable
- Advanced internships or working-student positions in an innovative environment with disruptive technologies are desirable
- International experience through study or internships is an advantage
- Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java), as well as databases and digital production engineering tools
- Fluent German and very good English, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical working style combined with a high degree of goal orientation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to think outside the box
