About the role
- Own the end-to-end QA process across web, mobile, and internal tools.
- Design and implement manual and automated test cases for new features, APIs, and user flows.
- Develop automated testing pipelines to catch regressions and edge cases early.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to define clear acceptance criteria.
- Conduct performance, security, cross-browser, and cross-device testing.
- Ensure data integrity across integrated systems (e.g., order management, inventory, 3PL, personalization).
- Continuously improve QA tools, frameworks, and processes to increase test coverage and reduce cycle times.
- Lead root cause analysis and post-mortems for critical issues in production.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience in QA or software testing roles, ideally in a DTC ecommerce or consumer tech environment.
- Strong proficiency in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Playwright).
- Hands-on experience testing across web, mobile, and API layers.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, agile software development, and continuous integration pipelines.
- Familiarity with tools such as Git, JIRA, Postman, Jenkins, and performance testing tools.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, custom headless stacks) is a plus.
