About the role
- Design and maintain automated pipelines for data platform operations
- Develop and support CI/CD workflows for data solutions
- Implement and manage infrastructure-as-code practices
- Configure and support workflow scheduling and job orchestration systems
- Support data platform security and compliance requirements
- Define and maintain operational standards, documentation, and runbooks
Requirements
- Experience as an individual contributor within Data Engineering or Platform Engineering environments
- Proven success in DevOps or Data DevOps Engineer roles supporting data platforms
- Strong knowledge of data governance, access control, security, and compliance
- Hands-on experience with source control systems and GitHub workflows
- Excellent engineering skills with experience supporting cloud-based data platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP)
- Proficient in scripting or programming languages used for automation (Python or similar)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data or platform workloads
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools and practices
- Project management skills
- Leadership experience in engineering or operations teams
