About the role
- Oversee BESS and PV+BESS projects from advanced development through pre-construction, ensuring a clean and timely hand-off to the construction execution team.
- Support the negotiations and execution of EPC contract(s) and other critical project agreements.
- Manage Limited Notice-to-Proceed contracts and owner-furnished equipment contracts and integration with EPC scope.
- Maintain and track project budgets and pre-construction schedules.
- Engage with authorities having jurisdiction and permitting authorities/agencies to obtain all required permits for the project.
- Work with finance parties, legal counsel(s), and independent engineer (lender representative) to support the financial milestones/closings.
Requirements
- 7-10 + years of experience managing utility-scale PV, BESS, and PV+BESS projects.
- Experience performing the above duties and responsibilities for utility-scale PV and BESS projects.
- Ability to travel 25-50% of the time, as needed.
- Expertise in MS Office Suite, MS Project and/or P6 (optional), Monday.com and other project management tools.
- Strong verbal and written communications and presentation skills are essential.
