About the role
- Perform journal entries and review of balance sheet and profit and loss as needed
- Work and collaborate with corporate and strategic finance teams in the reporting and analysis of financial statements and its transactions
- Take proactive approach in month-end and quarter-end procedures to make sure closing processes are accurate and timely delivered
- Work closely with the audit team to complete annual external audit and tax filings
- Performing various research and financial analysis to assist in identification of potential accounting issues or as may be required by leadership
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records, schedules and including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and information related to bank transactions
- Expert knowledge of all financial data sources within the business and ability to effectively utilize these data sources for reporting purposes
- Identify process improvement opportunities and leading process improvement efforts to increase accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency in financial reporting
- Participating in ad hoc projects and performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 3 years of relevant experience in financial and management reporting
- Expert knowledge of finance and accounting principles, general business practices and financial statements techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for various levels throughout the organization
- Ability to manage a fluctuating workload and tight deadlines by working extended hours during critical time periods
- Highly organized and sharp detail-oriented and demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
