About the role

  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient server-side applications using Python and Java/Spring boot.
  • Design, implement, and document RESTful APIs ensuring they are intuitive and efficient.
  • Partner closely with the Tech Lead and Product Manager on new initiatives.
  • Taking lead on the front-end/back-end roadmap and building out a component library.
  • Support junior members through a strong and patient code review culture.
  • Work to build consistency across projects, focusing on high quality documentation and interfaces.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in the industry in web app development.
  • Strong experience working in product teams.
  • Database Management: Design, create, and optimize database schemas using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Authentication and Authorization: Implement secure mechanisms in APIs.
  • Caching Strategies: Implement caching using Redis.
  • Microservices Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain using Python and Java/Spring boot.
  • Good understanding of design patterns, test-driven development, and software development best practices.
  • Demonstrable experience on unit testing.
