About the role
- Contribute to the Success of the Overall Team Strategy (40%)
- Work closely with colleagues across the global Save the Children movement to maximize opportunities with new corporate partners by sharing expertise and leveraging program and agency knowledge.
- Conduct account-specific research to inform partnership strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Under the guidance of the Senior Officer, lead the development, presentation, and securing of new organizational partnerships.
- Revenue Generation and Partnership Development (25%)
- Execute a strategic development plan to build new corporate partnerships aligned with agency-led campaigns and initiatives.
- Collaborate on partner-led campaigns, events, and other opportunities where Save the Children can add value, strengthen the partnership, and advance organizational growth ambitions.
- Best-in-Class Stewardship and Program Delivery (20%)
- Interface with partners’ marketing, social impact, and executive teams throughout the pitch process, creative development, and execution to ensure best-in-class integration, delivery, and alignment with partner goals and strategic priorities.
- Collaborate across all areas of Save the Children, serving as an advisor and partner where corporate partnerships have broader impact or implications for the agency.
- Deliver on shared goals with key stakeholder groups – (15%)
- Proactively identify opportunities to elevate Save the Children and its corporate partnerships through thought leadership and strategic communications.
- Monitor corporate trends, including ESG and CSR, to inform strategy and guide the development of new opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven success in fundraising, sales, marketing or promotions.
- Proven ability to work effectively and gain the respect of various constituencies including senior corporate executives and decision makers.
- Demonstrated knowledge of brand and cause marketing as well as business development.
- Proven track record as an effective communicator and negotiator.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and work well in a team and with those from other countries and cultures.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%.
- Professional proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
