About the role
- Build interactive, insightful dashboards in Power BI that make complex data easy to love and act on.
- Query and wrangle datasets using SQL and light Python to prep, clean, and automate.
- Work side-by-side with Data Engineers, Product Owners, and Data Scientists to understand client needs and translate them into reports.
- Join agile ceremonies, share updates, and gather feedback to keep sprints on track.
- Research new visualization techniques and BI best practices to keep solutions fresh.
Requirements
- Power BI Proficiency: You’ve built a few dashboards (school projects or internships count!) and know your way around visuals, DAX, and data modeling basics.
- SQL Know-How: Solid understanding of T-SQL or MySQL to query and transform data.
- Python Fundamentals: Comfort with scripting for data prep or simple automation.
- Design Eye: A knack for clear, user-friendly visuals that tell a story.
- Agile Spirit: Familiarity with agile workflows—daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retros.
- Great Communicator: Fluent in English, with the confidence to share ideas and ask smart questions.
- Bonus point for: Exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Bonus point for: Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik) or data-integration concepts.
